Privacy Policy for visitors of the site

This Privacy Policy describes how this site handles the processing of personal data of users/visitors who consult it. It is an information notice also issued pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03 — Personal data protection code — to those who connect to the website www.datitude.eu and use its web services. The notice applies only to the site mentioned above and not to other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.

The website www.datitude.eu is owned by Datitude S.r.l., managed by Datitude S.r.l., which ensures compliance with personal data protection regulations (Italian Legislative Decree 196/03).

Users/visitors should read this Privacy Policy carefully before sending any kind of personal information and/or filling in any electronic form on the site.

Type of data processed

1) Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This data category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: barring this eventuality, data on web contacts is not kept for more than seven days.

2) Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors

If users/visitors, by connecting to this site, send their own personal data to access certain services, or to make requests via email, this entails the acquisition by Datitude S.r.l. of the sender's address and/or any other personal data which will be processed exclusively to reply to the request, or to deliver the service. Personal data provided by users/visitors will be disclosed to third parties only when such disclosure is necessary to fulfil the requests of the users/visitors themselves.

3) Cookies

No cookies are used to transmit personal information, nor are persistent cookies of any kind used, that is, systems for tracking users. The use of session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially harmful to the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personally identifiable data.

Purpose of processing

The processing of data collected by the site, in addition to the purposes connected, instrumental and necessary to the provision of the service, is aimed at the purposes described below.

1) Statistics (analysis)

Collection of data and information in exclusively aggregated and anonymous form, to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the natural person user/visitor of the site, and does not allow their identification in any way.

2) Security

Collection of data and information to protect the security of the site (anti-spam filters, firewall, virus detection) and the users/visitors, and to prevent or unmask frauds or abuses against the website. The data is automatically recorded and may include personal data (IP address) that could be used, in accordance with current laws, to block attempts to damage the site or to harm other users, or otherwise carry out harmful or criminal activities. Such data is never used to identify or profile the user/visitor and is periodically deleted.

3) Consulting and professional assignments

In the case of spontaneous data submission to request professional consulting or a professional assignment, the data will be used only to evaluate the assignment and to fulfil it, if applicable.

Method of processing

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. Apart from what is specified for browsing data, users/visitors are free to provide their personal data. Failure to do so may result solely in the impossibility of obtaining what is requested.

Place of processing

The processing connected to the web services of the sites listed above takes place at the offices of Datitude S.r.l., the data controller, and/or at the hosting and/or site management company's office, and is handled only by the technical staff of the office in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is disclosed or disseminated.

Personal data provided by users who send requests for information material is used solely to deliver the requested service or service, and is shared with third parties only when necessary for this purpose.

Security measures

The processing of users/visitors' data is carried out lawfully and correctly, adopting the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. Processing is carried out through electronic and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and logic strictly related to the indicated purposes. In addition to the data controller, in some cases, categories of personnel involved in the organization of the site or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers) may have access to the data.

Data controller

The personal data controller is Datitude S.r.l.

Rights of data subjects

The persons to whom the personal data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to request its integration, updating or rectification (art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03). Under the same article, the subject has the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or the blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose, in any case, for legitimate reasons, its processing. Requests should be addressed to the data controller at the contacts indicated above.
