Deadlines, work plans, shop floor: every job with its promise and its forecast.
The typical activities of building a mold (design, customer approval, steels, machining, mold trials, shipping) are composed once into process templates. On the job you pick the template, the direction and the date to count from: ITeM calculates the plan on the critical path.
| Activity | Job | Date | Area | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Customer approval | C0124 | W22 | Design | M. Conte |
| Steel arrival | C0126 | W25 | Purchasing | S. Ferri |
| Mold trial 2 | C0122 | W27 | Toolroom | A. Riva |
“Deadlines and owners” lists the unfinished activities of all open jobs, with the date and who is responsible. The jobs dashboard sets the plans side by side and shows where the same areas overlap across different jobs.
Each part carries its routing with standard times. ITeM generates the operations plan on machines and operators, with shifts, closures and absences, and puts it in the department queue. External operations, such as heat treatment and photo-etching, take up calendar time without taking up machines. On the shop floor each operator starts their own operations and declares their hours.
| Start | Machine | Job | Part | Operation | Hours | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 07:00 | FR-01 | C0124 | CAVITY INSERT | Roughing | 6.0 | In progress |
| Mon 08:30 | FR-02 | C0121 | CORE INSERT | Finishing | 4.5 | In progress |
| Mon 13:00 | FR-02 | C0122 | SLIDE_P | Roughing | 3.0 | Queued |
| Mon 13:30 | FR-01 | C0124 | CAVITY PLATE | Drilling | 2.5 | Queued |
| Mon 14:00 | FR-03 | C0126 | ANGLED_LIFTER_P | Finishing | 3.5 | Awaiting material |
| Tue 07:00 | FR-03 | C0121 | CLAMPING_PLATE_M | Roughing | 5.0 | Queued |
