Upload the customer's documents: ITeM pre-fills the revision for the new mold, and you only look at what needs a decision.

how it works

Three steps, and the last word is yours.

1

Documents

Request for quotation, specifications, drawings and the STP of the part oriented in the mold; upload them or copy them from the quote folders. What the technician already knows (dimensions, material, design weeks) counts as confirmed data.

2

Processing

ITeM reads the documents and proposes Header, Characteristics and Mold concept: dates, request, contact, project, part, categories, cavities, material, cycle, quantity. From the STP it derives the part volume and weight. It works in the background and sends a notification when processing is complete.

3

Decision

You review only the fields that need a decision, such as values that differ between documents or dimensions to check; then “Apply to revision”. Until you apply, the revision doesn't change.

Your history becomes the starting point.

For the mold dimensions, ITeM searches the builds in other quotes with the same concept for the 5 most similar molds and proposes the median of their dimensions. If there are fewer than 5 similar molds, it uses the standard dimensions for the mold size. Dimensions far from the median stand out immediately, and every similar mold opens with one click.

traceability

Every field knows where it came from.

For every field read you can see the document, page and passage. Every field written by Apply stays marked with its source, and if you later change it by hand ITeM flags it. Every processing run keeps the documents, the technician's data and the options it was run with. Starting it requires a dedicated permission.

data

Your documents stay yours.

The documents you upload stay in the quote's archive in ITeM. To read them, ITeM uses two external services: Microsoft's Azure AI Document Intelligence, which extracts text and tables, and Anthropic's Claude, the language model that derives the quote data. Neither uses your documents to train its models. Microsoft processes them in the European Union and deletes documents and results within 24 hours; Claude processes them outside the European Union, with the safeguards the GDPR requires for data transfers. A run starts only when a user with the dedicated permission launches it.
